We are seeking a full-time, well-qualified, personable consulting FPE for immediate hire.

Qualifications

The ideally qualified candidate will have:

Credentials and Experience:

  • Diverse portfolio of successful professional FPE experience as a consulting engineer and project manager, serving new and repeat clients
  • Possess PE license in State of Washington in Fire Protection Engineering (or ability to obtain)
  • Eligibility for security clearance for private and government agencies

Competencies:

  • Proven ability to interpret and apply IBC and IFC fire protection and life safety code provisions to various occupancies in new and existing buildings
  • Successfully manage multiple projects with competing priorities and conflicting deadlines
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues verbally and in writing
  • Strong problem analysis and solving skills
